I am new to online dating so bear with me. I work in Marketing, but I'm a writer of poetry and fiction in my spare time. I also perform my poetry throughout NYC.
My intrests vary from all kinds of music (Hip Hop, R&B, and Jazz in particular). I love a good film of any kind. And I am a sports buff, but not ot the point where my lady wouldn't come first.
I love to go out to good films, good restaurants, and shows. The museums in this city always inspire so I make it a point ot check them out regularly.
What I'm looking for in a potential mate is someone who can make me laugh. Yes it's cheesy, but humor is very imprtant to me. I chose this site because BBW women seem to have more of a 'head' on their shoulders. They're more down to earth than others that I've dated before.
I myself am a big person, so I understand how sometimes its hard to get past the 'superficial' aspects of dating/meeting someone.
I am sometimes sarcastic, but never rude or mean. I can be describes as an all around 'nice guy'. While sometimes that moniker can be discouraging, I embrace it. I think treating a woman with respect and compassion shouldn't be frowned upon.

- Un premier rendez-vous idéal, ce serait Something fun and active, pool, museums, or bowling followed by a nice dinner and conversation. Movies for a first date aren't great because your silent for the length of the film. So if there is something that involves casual conversation, I'd prefer it.
- J'ai toujours voulu essayer I don't know...I'm willing to try anything. I've never been ice skating, might be interesting. And while I've grown up in New York my whole life, I've done all of the "tourist-y" stuff (Lady Liberty, Empire State Building, etc.)as a kid. I might like to see it as an adult with someone.
