Independent, Challenger, Curious, etc, etc..... I'm a 50 year old Black or African American (whichever you feel comfortable with) female, who is thinking about doing the dating scene again, after 3 years since becoming a divorcee (read "History" for more info).

I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, the fresh air, exploring, traveling. But there's nothing more that I enjoy than the WATER. I need to drink it, be in it, be near it, swim in it, boat in it. It's one the most rarest element of nature that makes me feel free and invincible. You may have guessed by now that I'm an Aquarian as in Aquarius zodiac sign (a water bearer ).

History:

2 time divorcee. First time....young, inexperience, infatuated (not in love). Second time....companionship (not in love). Get the picture? If I NOW spoke my true thoughts about LOVE, it may not be so positive, so I won't go there :-) . I'm older and wiser and I know that compatibility is what's most important. So lets be honest with each other.

I've semi-traveled the semi-world. I've lived and worked in Deutschland and travel frequently to the UK, Hawaii and South America (Belize) (once a year to UK und Deutschland).

My final resting place is (Florida). I love this place, anywhere from central to south. I've lived there for 15 years and now making it my goal to return to forever. Its the only place I know that I can lay in the warmth of the sun with the ocean splashing against My seemingly lifeless body and watch the seagulls fly over Me and the baby seagulls run away from the incoming waters at the shore. Sail with Me, wine and jazz and I'm a goner.

I'm not a crowds person, I've had my share of crowed concerts and clubs. I like peace, calm and happiness. Leave the chaos to those who enjoy it, and trust me, there are those who do enjoy it.

I would like to continue to grow older with a compatible person. I'm old (50 y/o) and the clock is not stopping and I love it.
