I have learned to focus more on being a good woman, than searching for a good man. I appreciate phone calls as much as I do text messages. I am immensely attracted to intelligence and emotional competency. I am a strong willed woman who typically takes care of those around me. And while I am independently single, I’m interested in connecting with a man who understands the importance accepting my feminine energy while not trying to downplay or quiet my tenacity. I can submit to the man that is strong enough to lead me, only if there is full understanding and commitment that God guides him.
I’m a social worker by profession, and have a caring spirit and giving heart naturally. I am also born and raised in inner city Chicago by multiple brothers and a father for a cop. I appreciate the calm and the passion in me, helps me stay focused on my goals without letting the world make me unkind. But am also observant and mindful so as to not be easily manipulated or taken advantage of.
I’m disinterested in hooking up or random booty calls. No shade if that’s your thing, it’s just not the journey I’m on. I’m open to connecting with a man who has desires to grow something authentic and meaningful, with someone who is honest and doesn’t shy away from direct communication. Laughter is a must, as smiles are often one of the first things I notice about people.
